I have installed W10 in dual boot with W8.1.
FortiClient SSL VPN is fine in W8.1 but it is not working on W10: connection get stuck at 98%.
From Windows Event log:
' The user SYSTEM dialed a connection named fortissl which has failed. The error code returned on failure is 720'
On W8.1 I use Forti_SslvpnClient_x64_4.0.2294.exe It is bundled with FortiGate, it cannot be downloaded from Fortinet web site, it is probably not the latest release.
Since it was not working I tried latest FortiClient online installer from http://forticlient.com I installed only the SSL/IPSEC VPN part ( I did not installed the AntiVirus, Web Filtering, Firewall ... components).
I have same error 720.
This issue is simular to vpn and other dial apps can not pass though wan miniport ,error 720
[Edited] Problem is partially solved in build 9926 (using SSL VPN Client 4.0.2294 on W10 x64). I still have an issue with my company intranet, I created a new thread : FortiClient SSL VPN: DNS Server priority issue (cannot reach intranet sites with both public and private IP address)
